Aasha: Short Stories by Contemporary Indian Women Writers was published by The Nehru Centre, Indian High Commission, London, to mark the coming of the new millennium. The anthology could be of immense literary and sociological interest in the light of the mainstream prominence and critical praise generated by literature originating in the Indian subcontinent in recent times.
